Thank-You Jackie… for helping me spread the word
Hi Jackie:
I’m glad you found my message in a bottle…and thank-you for helping me spread the word by relocating it. This is so exciting… it feels so great to be a part of this endeavour to promote organ and tissue donation. I am living proof that a transplant can improve the quality of life. I thank God everyday for my donor family…and I want to tell everyone that is waiting for ” the gift” to sit tight…we’re working on it! Your hero is out there… somewhere! Thanks again Jackie for your support. Together we will prevail.

Hi Brian
My name is Jackie Coughlin from Hughenden Alberta, when I was visiting your beautiful province in the beginning of May we were at the North Cape on May first and found your message in a bottle(I was so excited I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning) I was opening it as we were driving away from the wind mills and realized that it didn’t, really have a chance to travel very far, so I took it to my in-laws place that night and photo-copied it, as we continued our trip through Atlantic Canada I decided to throw the bottle back in the water at Peggy’s Cove (one of my favorite places in Canada.)
I commend you on your strength and determination to help spread the word about how important it is for organ tissue donations,I wish you much success as you continue to spread the word.I will continue to follow your story on the Internet and look forward to hearing who else might find the bottle.

Debates of the Senate
The Honourable Catherine S. Callbeck made a statement in the House of Commons, in Ottawa, on Tuesday, April 24, 2007. On behalf of NATIONAL ORGAN AND TISSUE DONOR AWARENESS WEEK, the Senator spoke of my walk across Prince Edward Island. I thank her for her honorable mention and hope that my walk has inspired more people to become donors and to make their decision known to their families.
Thank-You Senator Callbeck
